Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer - born on August 4, 1981, is an American Actress. Her most famous work is her roles in the films Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful It Is Where I Leave You, as well in the television series Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. She currently stars as Amantha Holden on The Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actor and director of films who is also a TV producer. She became popular with her roles in the drama show Rectify along with the sci-fi drama Timeless. A native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut by playing a part in the soap opera All My Children. It was for her outstanding performance that she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award. She mostly played in guest roles over the course of several years. The most well-known was her portrayal of the character of Dr. Erin Jameson, in the TV show Hawthorne. As time went on, her gorgeous looks and powerful acting abilities led to her gaining an ardent fan base. She made her film debut when she was around 20 and was performing in the movie Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were a couple of her other movies. She earned a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her part in the movie Beautiful Now'. The film starred her as Lucy Preston the history professor in Timeless. The series has been praised by critics and Spencer's performance has been nominated in the Teen Choice Award.
