Anita Barone

Barone is featured as a character in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld from the fourth season. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a restaurant owner who needs Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was one of the cast members on Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone Also, she played Ross Geller's ex-wife during the first time she appeared on Friends. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she quit to accept an full-time position. She was the main character on The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the beginning of the season (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home in 2005-2007. In 2000, Barone also co-starred in the show Daddio. Barone's other television credits include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone was the recipient of her 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the movie One Last Ride. Three years later, after The War at Home ended the series, Barone began her recurring role on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Her husband, actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones his ex-husband the character played by Barone.
